Signs That Suggest You Are Ready for Change in Your Life… Part #1

Hi, Steemians!

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about changing your own life? Could it be that it scares you? Or do you feel excitement?

A rather exciting subject to approach, especially when you are determined to make a difference in your life, but what makes things a little confusing is knowing WHEN you are ready for that change to happen.

So, how do we know when the time for that change comes?

Here is the truth: the reality of the matter suggests that it’s been there all along, and you’ve been ignoring it.

We tend to ignore the most significant signs that life throws at our doorstep, simply because we are preoccupied with everything that is simultaneously happening in our lives.

Just in case that most of you are negligent towards your own fate, I am going to explain the signs that indicate you have been failing to realize it’s time to alter your future once and for all!

  1. You Are Gloomy or Unhappy At Least Once a Day

What does it take for us humans to be happy? We tend to feel a bit down or depressed the moment we realize something isn’t to our liking, no matter how small it might be.

As days go by, these feelings of sadness and helplessness become a part of our life, without us being aware of our surroundings. When was the last time you did something for YOU?

Let us take a step back and have a look at your to-do list for a change.

Are you certain this is not a to-do list of other people around you? Now, there lies the difference.

This is not about being selfish or about insensitivity!

The truth is: One needs to be happy, if they are to make other people happy.

  1. You’re Stressed Out!

Being constantly stressed out is perhaps one of the most common signs that determine you are desperately in need of change in your life.

Reacting to things and situations when you are stressed out can be challenging at times though.

People who are under a lot of stress are mostly anxious about making a change. So, in a defensive act from our subconsciousness, we resist change whenever we can.

The best solution to deal with your anxiousness is thinking about what is causing you to stress out… ask yourself this: Is it worthy of all the trouble and conflicts that you are going through?

There are also many articles about anxiousness and ways to deal with it in this blog. You should definitely check them out!

  1. You Are Constantly Afraid!

We all live with fear. We are all afraid of losing our loved ones. We are afraid of failing the people close to us. We are afraid of failing our future selves.

And… we are afraid of making life-changing decisions.

But here is the thing: As much as life is scary, it is also abundantly beautiful. It’s alright to be frightened, yet it’s not right to live a life of constant fear.

Undoubtedly, it can be troublesome to embrace changes in your life when you are already scared, but look past the fear, for you will find the path that will lead you to who you were born to be…. that is the poetry of this journey!

In Venezuela, the country where I was born and where I live, today lives with a lot of anguish, depression and fear.

Many of us are working for the necessary political changes, but the mentality of many people derives in utopian concepts that result in social confrontations that end up complicating the situation in the country.

It is difficult to maintain an attitude of sanity in such conflicting moments, where the variables are no longer identifiable, and therefore any applicable plan loses effectiveness

I identify with the anguish of the Venezuelans in this regard . But note that the contemporary in your country is an indication that change is imminent!! Change can't be resisted for long or it consumes the resister. Venezuelans has come to the Clif ; there must be a U turn!!

But Hope is necessary to negotiate this turn!!

You are absolutely right, sir ... if we are already in a state of stress or overwhelmed by fear, we must be prepared to make changes. That change must be done from within us to improve the bodily things we have done in our lives. Enjoy your week end, sir.

We must embrace the changes that come into are lives as they are part of the evolution of our learning and experiences. They help mold us as resilient beings that need to focus on our goals.

The signs that tell me perfectly that I need a change in my life are always clear and direct. I see it, I know it.
A real life example was when I got fed up with supporting a team that always breaks my heart when it matters most, year in, year out. I knew it was time for me to find another team I could support that would give me joy.
Now I am happy.

I believe changing our life is actually not a one day job. I believe it is gradual and with the help of God, and not with our own power can we change it
